Urbanities publishes Regular Issues and Special Issues twice a year, and the IUS Supplements.

Urbanities grants free access to the journal’s content for scientific, educational, non-commercial and non-promotional purposes.

All Issues and Supplements are peer-reviewed to the same editorial standards and are open-access.

All peer-reviewed articles and other authored contributions are protected by copyright.

Users may access, download or link to the full text of a contribution provided that:

  • (i) the authors’ rights, including the rights to ‘paternity’ (also known as ‘attribution’) and ‘integrity’, are not compromised and are properly acknowledged;
  • (ii) if an article/contribution content is downloaded or otherwise used for non-commercial research and education purposes, a link to the appropriate bibliographic citation (authors, article title, journal, volume, issue, page numbers, and the link to the definitive published version on Urbanities’ platform/URL) must be provided;
  • (iii) if an article/contribution content is posted to non-commercial repositories, a link to the definitive published version of the article on Urbanities’ platform/URL is required.
